There are a number of ways you can get involved with KTD 196 and help us impact on the lives of the amazing kids we work with:
This experience is for GAP students and those who are considering a career in development, or who have a heart to serve others and learn about new cultures. We can organize short stays of one month to extended periods, depending on your needs. You will get an opportunity to visit some of the 120 villages in which we work, and assist with the childrens/youth program depending on your interests. Included would be a short stay in a local village, living as the locals do, where you will experience the warm and wonderful Sotho and Shangaan culture. The proceeds of this program go to supporting the activities of Keep The Dream196, as well as those of the communities you visit and work with. •Another opportunity is to sponsor Mark McNamara as he cycles from Kampala in Uganda to Cape Town in South Africa. We already have some schools getting involved because their pupils can learn as he cycles as well as fundraise on our behalf. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch here..
•Other opportunities include holding morning teas or the old lamington drive to fundraise on our behalf. Proceeds can be deposited directly via the donate button.on this site or through the following.
•If you reside in Australia we have contacts with Mercedes College who have agreed to act as our funding conduit, and will be able to give tax receipts for any donations made. Contact them here .
•For those of you in South Africa Keep The Dream 196 is registered as a Charitable Organization and we can give you tax receipts directly.
